Ladies gathered to socialize and encourage each other. After a devotional and prayer time, we created simple note cards to give encouragement to others!

Thank you Heather for sharing a devotional about "Faith is..."

Faith is...Recognizing that God is the LORD of TIME when my idea of timing doesn't agree with His.

Faith is...Committing loved ones' problems to God to solve.

Faith is...Claiming God's strength to accept and endure weariness, pain, decline - patiently.

Faith is...Acknowledging God as the giver of abilities when success is mine.

Faith is...Not faith in faith itself, but faith in the FACTS of Scripture, FACT of Christ's death and His resurrection.

Faith is...Ceasing to worry, leaving the FUTURE to the God who controls the future.

Faith is...The WAY to please God.

gifts, cards, with meals to the sick, in kid's lunches, etc.

At Lost Creek Mennonite Church, Mifflintown

Come for a time of fellowship as we create note cards to share encouragement with others. 

 Free Childcare Provided!

All supplies are provided!
If you want, bring scissors and glue.
Bring a Friend!!

We are compiling a LIFT cookbook. Please consider contributing up to 5 recipes.
Do you have craft supplies you'd like to swap out? You can add them to our Sharing Table.

If the Juniata County School District is closed, LIFT will be canceld.
If the district is on a 2 hour delay, we will start at 10:30am.

We hope to see you on Wednesday!!

Little Brunch, Much Celebrating

Each lady may bring a food to share for our Christmas brunch and social.

We also will collect donations for the Juniata County Food Pantry

(food, toiletry items, cleaning products, or money).

Things to Remember:
* Bring (optional) a small dish of food to share for our brunch, and food pantry items. Did I say optional? Yes, this is optional! :-)

* Reminder (even though it was over 60 degrees today!) that if the JC School District is delayed, we will start at 10:30. If they are canceled, we will cancel.

* Free childcare again by our AWESOME staff!! (donations welcome).

* We'll still have our "Sharing Table". You may bring something you think another LIFT mom would appreciate.
